Hypnosis allows people to more rapidly overcome challenges like losing weight, quitting smoking, sleeping better, reducing anxiety, increasing confidence, and overcoming fears and phobias.
Hypnosis is a relaxed, lucid state of awareness that involves both the mind and the body. It allows for changes in behavior and thought patterns while you remain aware and engaged. The hypnotic state is actually a natural state of mind for all humans, similar to our state of mind in meditation, yoga, visualization, daydreaming, or even watching TV. We are all perpetually moving from one kind of consciousness to another, depending on our level of concentration. When you focus your full attention on one thing, you are not able to focus on anything else. And, what you give your attention to drives your mood, thoughts, mindset, and behavior. For example, when we watch TV we focus on the TV to the exclusion of other things in the room. What then happens on the TV influences our thoughts and feelings. In a similar way, hypnosis is a relaxed state of awareness, where your mind is highly focused and lucid. With hypnosis, the difference is this state of mind is deliberately induced, deepened, and focused to achieve a specific objective. In this case, your well-being objective!
